Brendan Rodgers new bookies’ favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is the new favorite after beating this weekend, to take more than Mauricio Pochettino in Tottenham.
A spate of stakes are put on the Northern Irishman taking control at White Hart Lane following Pochettino, delivering his price.
Only 3 days before, Rodgers had been 8/1 to triumph the Argentine in the North London club, though that’s been slashed into 7/2, making him the clear favourite.
Approximately 36% of stakes in the last 24 hours have backed to carrying more than Pochettino, Rodgers, making him by far the most.
Meaning he overtakes favorite.
Elsewhere, Massimiliano Allegri chimes in as the favourite for the task.
Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique follows next at 9/1, followed by Rafa Benitez (10/1), Thomas Tuchel (16/1), Diego Simeone (33/1) and Carlo Ancelotti (33/1).
Pochettino (10/1) is currently the third favourite to be the next Premier League director to leave his post, now ahead of the likes of Steve Bruce (16/1).
Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester on Saturday has now led to a small dip in their chances for Premier League markets, drifting from 33/1 out to 75/1 to win the league.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson:”Heading into Pochettino’s sixth season at Spurs, arriving fresh from the Champions League final and actually producing some worthwhile improvements to a severely depleted squad — couple would anticipate the Argentine to be under this much pressure just six games into the season.
“However, it appears he is, also punters believe the Brendan Rodgers could be the man to take more than him if he does decide to depart.
“Rodgers’ Foxes side have been cut from 18/1 pre-season into just 5/1 to complete with a Champions League spot, exemplifying exactly how good a job he is doing at the King Power Stadium. That is certainly one to keep an eye on.”
