1.5 Using Rubrics to Score Essays and boost your Writing
If you study the rubric or scoring guide that follows, you can see the important thing points that separate one score from another. You can see just how good your writing was on each trait or characteristic when you get a score on a rubric. When we are scoring writing, however, you need to have a rubric that works well the exact same for all of us, and therefore everybody understands.
