World champion Bianca Walkden took silver in the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Japan following a golden-point loss to arch competitor Zheng Shuyin in the +67kg class.
This had been the first meeting between the pair since the contentious victory against the Olympic champion in the World Championship final in May of Walkden.
There the Briton employed unconventional approaches to induce Zheng into a succession of penalties, which led to her disqualification when contributing 20-10.
Zheng levelled to force a decider, where she broke , although walkden led 5-0 after the opening around in Japan.
Team-mate Christian McNeish Unbelievably defeated world champion Lee Dae-hoon of all South Korea 33-26 in the -68pound semi-finals.
