Trinbago Knight Riders have their sights set on creating history this week, when they launch the new collection of the Caribbean Premier League.
The Knight Riders – who offered the defence of their T20 crown live on Sky Sports – are bidding to procure a unprecedented hat-trick of titles.
But there are five other star-studded clubs outside to prevent them and grab the championship over the six weeks. Herewe have at look in the challengers…

The only way is up for the Tridents, who finished bottom of the desk at 2018 after winning only two of their fittings.

With the line-up also adding the following veteran in Andre Russell and fascinating young West Indies bowler Oshane Thomas – that shot 18 wickets last year – there should be no lack of entertainment.
New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips, who scored more runs than some Tallawahs batsman in 2018, returns alongside Afghanistan left-arm spinner Zahir Khan and fellow Kiwi George Worker.
Last year: Fifth
The Zouks, who competed in the championship until 2017, are back as the effect of the proprietors of the replacement company, the American Stars along with a falling-out involving the league organisers.
Neither of the St Lucia teams has ever won the competition of mounting a battle that this time will be pinned on the island player, all-rounder Darren 33, and also their hopes.
