David Luiz: Arsenal defender can learn from mistakes, says Per Mertesacker

Since he was on a yellow card which led to the Liverpool forward scoring a fine solo goal in the 58th minute at the game at 37, In addition, he pulled from a battle on Salah.
Mertesacker, who’s Arsenal’s academy director, states:”I believe that he (David Luiz) will learn from his mistakes to the pitch, however he’s very comfortable being Arsenal.
“That’s what I have been seeing. So we’re happy to have him.
“He brings something different from the table right now. I think he’s ready to excel and learn his degree of being an Arsenal player.”
Following the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with Tottenham, Luiz admitted that the defenders of Arsenal needed to take responsibility for conceding two goals against their North London rivals.
The Chelsea defender has started in 3 of the Premier League games this campaign of Unai Emery’s side.
Arsenal have conceded and play with six goals after two wins, 1 draw and a defeat in their opening four matches of their Premier League year, which makes them fifth.
Mertesacker considers the group’s formation and the part of the three Pierre-Emerick Aubemayang Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe needs more clarity if they are to give away goals.
He added:”I think we have a lack of balance at the moment. Where you feel like, ok we have strikers but they as well need to know that we will need to get a certain compactness.
“It’s not just about us three (lead) strikers supplying an offensive threat. It is about these three as well, like being a unit, leading the frontline.
“So I believe we need to be careful of that. No matter how much striking energy you’ve got, you want to get a feeling of compactness .
“So it is not only the back four who must be judged on how many objects we concede.”
