FA technical manager Les Reed has admitted it could be a”tough ask” to stop Gareth Southgate out of leaving his role as England manager to join a Premier League club.
Southgate has mastered a transformation since being promoted from his job because manager in 2016, leading England into also the Nations League finals and the 2018 World Cup semi-finals the summer.

“I believe the allure of being the next England boss to carry us to some World Cup final is a powerful pull and I believe he knows that by doing that his stock is not likely to go down.
“Obviously it’s something that we’ve got in the back of our minds all the time but I know that Gareth’s motivation is with this team and developing this group moving forward.”
England will look to maintain their best start to the campaign when they host Kosovo on Tuesday and have now transported their type beneath Southgate into qualifying for the 2020 Championships.
