Joaquin Niemann became the international winner in the PGA Tour in the Greenbrier with a six-shot triumph in the A Military Tribute since 1923.
Even the 20-year-old carded a final-round 64 to secure his maiden success on his 44th start on 21.
Niemann, who was the amateur world one from May 2017 to April 2018, is the first player from Chile to win on the PGA Tour.
“I have been thinking about this my whole life,” he said afterwards.
Niemann started with a two-shot guide but never looked like relinquishing his advantage as he won than the Seve Ballesteros or Rory McIlroy in a younger age in America.
The championship has been the first of the season on the PGA Tour and Niemann earns a place and a three-year exemption in The Masters at Augusta following April.
