The Cincinnati Reds head to St. Louis Following a tough loss last night in Miami.
They fell with a score of 4-3 in the 12th and went to extras. Poor loss for the Reds, but it is all basic at this point in the season. This summer, they have taken themselves. There was lots of hype when the Reds traded for Yasiel Puig.
At a minimum, the Reds were looking at being. In 2019, Cincinnati have been way off the mark of their goals with a listing of 63-70. There is promise for its future, though, with Aristides Aquino swinging the pole, together with Sonny Gray and Luis Castillo in the spinning. The cupboard isn’t going to be empty for the Reds.
This year is shot for the Reds. They are not mathematically from the postseason but using a deficit in the National League for a wildcard, their season is without help in sight for 2019. The Cardinals lead the NL Central and therefore so are 10.5 games up on the Reds. The only group that the Cards have to likely concern yourself with in September is that the Cubs.
Milwaukee has an opportunity, but they’ve been slowly fading back and so are 5.5 games back of 1st entering the weekend. St. Louis have been the best team by far from the NL Central in the second-half. The Cubs and Brewers both have been inconsistent, although the Cards quietly emerged at the top of the division.
The Cardinals are coming off a loss to the Brewers in Milwaukee, though that was their first loss in seven games. Dakota Hudson will seem to begin a new win streak for St. Louis on Friday. He gets the phone Trevor Bauer, against Indian, this day at Busch Stadium. Head below for our complimentary Reds vs. Cardinals pick.

Trevor Bauer has stated that he is happy he’s out of Cleveland. He apparently misses nothing about Cleveland, but I am sure he misses his stats he’d had with his former staff. Things haven’t gone smoothly to Bauer in Cincinnati far. In five outings with the Reds, Bauer has published an ERA of both 7.62 and 1.58 WHIP in 26 innings of work.
In his latest revealing, the Pirates uprooted Bauer for 8 strikes and 7 earned runs. Perhaps there are some things he doesn’t miss about Cleveland, but he did have a 3.79 ERA with all the Indians. His ERA has gone up to 4.34 overall annually. Bauer has made three appearances on the road just since a Red.
They didn’t go too well for himas he had been KO’d for a 14.25 ERA and also 2.50 WHIP in 12 innings. It can not get anything worse than for him personally, although it should go simpler for Bauer night. In his last few outings, he’s been famous to get a 11.30 ERA and also 1.81 WHIP, all losses on his resume. Bauer may be better, though the Cards are probably still going to have the ability to reach Bauer.
Dakota Hudson continues to be on fire and will have to cool off to the Reds to have a shot here. In his last three outings, Hudson hasn’t allowed one run. That is 18.2 innings of scoreless baseball with only 7 hits allowed in complete. Dakota has been at this best in St. Louis, where he has a 2.97 ERA when compared with a 4.01 ERA on the street. The cost on the Cards looks a little funny here, but I’m still ready to back them .
