Each facet can then pick up to 2 England players out of their place prior to a participant draft on 20 October.
The system for England player choice means that, for instance, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root and Ben Stokes are available to be chosen from the Leeds-based group that reflects Durham and Yorkshire.
