2019 NCAAF Betting Preview: Iowa State Cyclones

Iowa State Cyclones

OVER 8 Wins?? -125
The Cyclones are currently coming 14 novices and are directed by a number of the trendiest head coaching products in college football and thats Matt Campbell. Teams at the NFL sought after campbell but feels like something is being built by him in Ames, Iowa.
Iowa State is one of just two teams in the Big 12 (the other being the Oklahoma Sooners) to acquire at least eight games in each of the past two seasons. This group has five offensive players that are preseason All-Americans and also a quarterback in passing efficiency last campaign in Brock Purdy who led The Big 12.
You heard that Brock Purdy had a much better efficiency than Heisman winner Kyler Murray of Oklahoma and Heisman optimistic Sammy Ehlinger of Texas. As he added 14 points a game when he was called the newcomer purdy turned this team around from the second half of the year.
In the backfield the Cyclones will overlook NFL-bound David Montgomery however have novices Jirehl Brock along with Breece Hall to fill the void.
The Cyclone defense will probably be powerful and led the Big 12 in total defense. They allowed just 3.3 yards per carry, a mark that was ninth-best from the country. Since the conference was founded in 1996, Iowa State had never ended first in scoring defense until they eventually did it in 18 in their turnaround season that was magnificent.
Loads of solid players reunite such as standout security Greg Einsworth (led team with 87 tackles), defensive end DaQuan Bailey (8 sacks, 14.5 tackles for a loss), along with linebackers Marcel Spears and Mike Rose.
Campbells team has high expectations and finished the season. Becoming to wins isnt only something but a conference championship match is within their reach.
In their non-conference program they have only twocake games, vs Northern Iowa and Louisiana-Monroe, but lodged between these games that they have their in-state rivals, the Hawkeyes of Iowa. It is time for the Cyclones to make an early-season statement and a triumph on the Hawkeyes (Iowa has won four straight in this series) will do just that.
Their road conference opponents are Baylor, West Virginia, Texas Tech (in AT&T Stadium) and Kansas State, all groups the Cyclones defeat a year past. They do play another street game and that is vs Oklahoma. That the Cyclones stunned Heisman winner Baker Mayfield 38-31 and that the Sooners before you count that as a loss, dont forget in Norman.
The week after that game the Longhorns venture into Jack Trice Stadium from the game which will determine who gets a potential tiebreaker. Though Texas has a head coach in Tom Herman along with a potent offense, the Longhorns wont be able to keep up with this Cyclones and yield only 3 starters.
Things are changing at the Big 12 and the Iowa State Cyclones will be the No. 1??change that will select the convention by storm.
