Where are my Game of Thrones stakes!!?? Throughout the place really, many sportsbooks are taking bets on the final season of HBO’s award winning series Game of Thrones, with the season premiere airing at 9:00 p.m. ET on Sunday April 14.
We break down the chances and a number of the proposition bets out of who’ll rule Westeros to who will die. And we toss our helm to the ring with a few predictions too.
Keep in mind the wording might differ as well as that based on your sportsbook, options and chances can vary greatly for these type of stakes. For instance some books say”Who will rule Westeros at the end of Season 8?” While others define”Who will sit on the Iron Throne?”

Analysis: This is the big bet, and the number one issue most people are requesting. I’m not sure if there will be any 1 ruler on the throne at the end however, I don’t think it will be Bran even when there is. The new Three Eyed Raven might be one of the most effective folks in Westeros but he’s stated that his birthright has become irrelevent and that he is not Lord Stark anymore, which probably means he doesn’t have an inclination to become King Stark either.
Out of all of the characters on the series Daenerys desires the throne the most. But she has revealed questionable. With her taking a more villanous turn near the close of the series, I could see a twist. If she finds out the truth about Jon Snow’s parentage and thinks he’s trying to steal what she sees as her birthright. The Mother of Dragons will undoubtedly play a critical part in the war against the White Walkers but she may not be the best candidate to direct Westeros after.
My cash is on Jon Snow. He has been among the main personalities from day one and that which appears to be adding up for him to be the prototypical hero: he rose from the dead, reconquered Winterfell, gets the support of several of the most effective families in the Seven Kingdoms, is knocking boots using Daenarys and is the son of the late goddess, Rhaegar Targaryen. The payout at +350 for Jon Stargaryeon isn’t too shabby either.
