In-form Marcus Forss netted a hat-trick to flame AFC Wimbledon to a 4-1 win at fellow strugglers Southend.
The Brentford has scored seven goals in six Sky Bet League One matches.
Along with also the 20-year-old took only five minutes because he fired home a deflected right-footed shot from 12 yards to open the scoring at Roots Hall.
