Iowa State is one of only two teams in the Big 12 (the other being the Oklahoma Sooners) to win at least eight games in each of the past two seasons. This team contains five offensive players that are preseason All-Americans plus also a quarterback in passing efficiency last campaign in Brock Purdy who led The Big 12.

Though Texas has a solid head coach in Tom Herman plus a powerful crime, the Longhorns wont be able to stay informed about the Cyclones and yield three starters.
